In fact there only 40 000 people in the army and the plan is to reduce it to 35 000.

North Korea isn't even on this list. They should be at #5. They have a 923,000 man army and an 85,000 man air force. They also have a navy.

According to Korean Ministry of National Defense, North Korea'S(Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea) armed forces personnel is 1,170,000.

Russia has far less personell than shown here. China is first with 2.5 million men including reserves, USA second with about 2.3 million including reserves and India is third with about 2 million.
