There are more pyramids in Sudan (south of egypt ) than in Egypt combined. But because of its lack of modern conveniences not many tourists have visited it. The oldest pyramids head back all the way to eighth century B.C. It's a shame they have to be forgotten.

Can I trust any figure at this site if the most basic and accessible info is wrong? On January 1st, 2005, Israel's population was 6,862,000, while here it is said to have been 6,227,000 on April 26th, 2005.

It would be informative to have the numbers for population per square-kilometer (or other area measure). Sure Canada has 30+ million people but Morocco (which has a slightly lower population) would be rated at the top 10 or so for pop/area (and Canada probably near-dead last).

I need to find an exact population on South Africa but I am having trouble with the wide variety of sites. Although there are different opinions for where South Africa is, there must be an exact population for the original area.

This silly business of sometimes calling the EU a country and sometimes breaking out data for the member states must end. It's a single economic and social entity, it's time we started calling it one.
