Telecommute: Part time editor
Rapid Intelligence, publisher of NationMaster and StateMaster, is seeking a part time editor who will be responsible for maintaining high quality content on these two sites. The role will involve:
- creating and editing statistics according to our guidelines using our admin system
- working with programmers to ensure high quality importation of such data
- writing copy on the site such as factoids, blog entries
- reviewing user comments.
Required
- Excellent written English
- Excellent communication skills
- Extensive experience with computers and the web
- Solid academic record
- Work style: thorough and fast
- Reliable broadband internet connection
Preferred skills. Not required but candidates with any of these will be at an advantage:
- Basic HTML
- Copywriting experience
- Experience with the publication of statistics
- Experience working at international agencies, development oriented or otherwise.
