Daal made his debut on April 24, 1993. He is a two-career pitcher who began as a reliever for the Los Angeles Dodgers (1993-95), Montreal Expos (1996-97) and Toronto Blue Jays (1997), and then turned as a starter with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 1998. Daal was sent to the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2000 mid-season and returned to Los Angeles in 2002. After that season, he signed a two-year contract with the Orioles.
