The USA led the war effort, yet there is no mention of US forces. Why?

Australia offered a small but specialized force to the Gulf War, as they also did in Afghanistan and the current Iraqi conflict. This included SAS soldiers, Servalence aircraft, and naval ships.

The US isnt mentioned on there sailor because the ones here mentioned are countries that helped the US out.

Are these the people that died or the total number of soilders sent? If you know could you just post a comment about it I'll check back in about a week to see. I'm writong a report and I want top use this sorce but am not sure of what the numbers represent.
