Health Care statistrics are complicated by greed. For example, France spends $2,349 per capita, USA $4,631; but is this because the US takes better care of its citizens? or because the French are less hypochondriacal? or simply because doctors in France chgarge $25 for a visit, while those in the US charge up to $200?

We pay a cost to be on the cutting edge of technology. It is a cost in dollars. Other countries merely follow us. Our patents do not apply to them so they can just copy our technology without paying for research and development costs. Of course theirs is cheaper. If you think cheaper health care is worth a delay in new technology or, ultimately, a decrease in quality, then go try it out for a while in another country before you gripe about ours.

Wow, even though the U.S. is number one in the health funding, its incredibly difficult to get good health care at an affordable price. But then, Sarah ^ may not agree with that.
